"CURTAINS" Box No 5. From the original Broadway set design model by Anna Louizos. One of nine individual shadow boxes depicting a scene from the original Broadway production, starring David Hyde Pierce, Debra Monk, Karen Ziemba, Jill Paice, Noah Racey and Megan Sikora; Score by Kander and Ebb, book by Rupert Holmes; directed by Scott Ellis, choreography by Rob Ashford, costumes by William Ivey Long, lighting by Peter Kaczorowski. Scene depicting "Detective Cioffi (played by David Hyde Pearce) on the backstage catwalk. Model is preserved in a black box measuring 11"H x 11"W x 4 1/2" D (can be easily wall mounted on a picture hook). Each box is one of a kind. Set model is constructed of mat board, brass, paper, gouache, acrylic and sculpting compound. Signed by the designer.
